Our Story

Uniting for Ukraine Rogue Valley (U4URV) was started to sponsor Ukrainian refugee families (or individuals) to find homes and safety in the Rogue Valley. As of December 2023, we are supporting 24 families and over 60 people here in the Rogue Valley.
Our host families are our most critical resource—they provide homes for our guest families and are crucial in helping our guests navigate life here. 
Our support teams assist our guest families in accessing social services, obtaining medical care, arranging transportation, providing meals, enrolling children in school, acquiring interpreters, aiding children and parents in learning English, and meeting other needs.

U4URV is actively working to achieve formal 501(c)3 recognition and hopes to complete this by the end of Q1 2024. We are formally recognized as a legal entity by both the Federal government and the state of Oregon.
